Passion and dedication are two very important lessons that one has to learn to be a successful sales professional, so they say but we all have been in situations where a deal is about to close; it could be that job, it could be that investment, it could be that promotion and just at that moment something happens. When that happens we all think I should have pushed further, I should have closed better, I should have stayed focused. But the truth is when the deals don’t close it most times means that the beginning was wrong.
the truth is when the deals don’t close it most times means that the beginning was wrong.
Amount of pushing or determination or knowledge has it’s own value but there is something that is more powerful than any other technique i.e. rapport, call to action, attention grabber etc. that can be used for persuasion. That is ‘The Art of Framing’.
How do you start that guarantees closer because I think closure is not about the end. Closure is about, how to start. If you have a powerful framing the closer becomes easy, you don’t have to push, you don’t have to followup; people will chase you, they will come to you and they will do the closure for you. Imagine what kind of world would that be when you can do that. How much time you would have saved.
people will chase you, they will come to you and they will do the closure for you.
And for a start like that how do you frame the pitch for yourself in your head even before you decide to pitch matters. What is your attitude towards closure, because when people think about closing they think of it to be a sleazy thing. Like a sales person knocking at the door randomly or wolf of wall street repeating something that worked once or twice and expecting it to work all the time, risking everything at the same time. If that’s the mental attitude about closing than you are not going to do it with your entire soul and your heart.
So let’s nail the problem directly and the deal breaker is answer to the question, what is sales, truly?
Is it something that creates job? Yes!
Does it change the well fair of people? Yes, again!
It runs houses & economies! Definitely yes!
Wouldn’t that make ‘selling a noble profession’?
If that is the case what stops you from feeling amazing every time you close or think of closing. The need how ever is that it should happen automatically.
Closure is important for everything. It is what converts invested time into profitable time. you are chasing that investor, you have that employee, you have that manager, you have that promotion you have been working on it’s time to invest. Invest in ‘closing the deal like a pro’! It’s closure that turns dreams into reality. And that closure begin right at the beginning. The best part is that once you get there it’s so easy that people come to you again and again and again.
It’s closure that turns dreams into reality
Best of the best teacher, educator, parents, grandparents, entrepreneur and successful business man do it all the time. We sell all the time. If they can do it so can any one of us. A skill that can get people to present your information as their own, think about it what all will change in your life if you could do it once, twice, thrice and many more times, on demand. The next time you have to speak you would’t be the only one talking. Well does’t that solve most of our problem, in relation in profession or otherwise.
So where else will you ‘frame it so well’ that ‘they can’t not accept’ it?!
