In smallest to the biggest of achievement of human kind one of the elements that is highly relevant and totally miss matched is capabilities.
Occasionally with roles, mostly with identification. A great deal of time is invested in major heads or classification of skills but sensory acuity or capability of delicate nature is greatly missed. For example problem solving is never logical thinking alone, stepping out of problem and not becoming the problem is early important.
So, How come some people develop any particular capability and how come some don’t and I think it’s based on their parents first of all, the environment they growup in so if the parents continuously use the capability to disassociate the child will unconsciously pick it up, the child will model.
Talent is not only passed though DNA it’s also something that’s happening from assimilating around the environment
Have you heard of this thing that you know if the father is a carpenter the son or the daughter has the carpentry skills father is a musician so the son or daughter seems to have musical skills too. what they found out was that it is not only true about children born to them it’s also true for the adopted child which means it’s not only passed though DNA it’s also something that’s happening from assimilating around the environment so I think first it comes from who do they have to model people around them do they exhibit those skills.
Antano adds: The second it also comes down to the exposure like for me personally I think my father was a scientist and my mother she is a very good Veena player. but when I grew up I didn’t grow up watching TV and music or my mother singing I grew up learning science I grew up playing chess so I wasn’t surprised that I didn’t pickup the distinction in note.
If you watch Chinese you would see that their eyes move a lot on the center and when the eyes move in the center according to john and Richard what it means that they are listening to their own voice. When people’s eyes move up they are seeing pictures eyes move in the center they are listening to their own voice.
Now the Chinese have a very fine acuity to distinctions in words the sound differences in their pronunciations, very fine acuity to it. the reason they develop that fine acuity is that their language demands it you have two words that when you say it in an upward intonation it has a very different dictionary meaning from when you say it in a downward intonation so how does a Chinese Citizen develop a super auditory acuity because their language demands it. Now how do some people develop disassociation may be they saw it from their parents or may be they went through a trauma and the only way they knew to keep themselves alive is to step outside their body!
I mean I have read a lot of leadership books where they say focus on your strength and work to it that’s a great advise to bring more profit to the company but not necessarily a great advise for your own personal development
So sometimes you have seen people who are abused or went through a trauma and they wouldn’t have a memory of what happened those people have learnt how to disassociate. but also what happens is they may have learnt to disassociate but they wouldn’t know how to get that capability available in other areas of their life and I think it’s deepened by the new age philosophy. I mean I have read a lot of leadership books where they say focus on your strength and work to it that’s a great advise to bring more profit to the company but not necessarily a great advise for your own personal development, right? Because think about this if I didn’t focus on my limitations which is being able to listen to the pitch today I wouldn’t be able to do the kind of stuff that I am doing. -Antano
Today, ironically my work depends on my auditory acuity my ability to shift voice on demand to lower pitch to a higher pitch to speaking very fast to having a completely different voice all together and I shift with precision. I know what voice I am using when and what effect it has on people for example sometimes I can slow down my voice and It has an effect on some people here so much that their own breathing slows down. SO today my work, my installations are highly dependent on my ability to vary my voice, my auditory acuity to it.
If you look at the innovations that are happening in today’s world they don’t come from specialist who is good at one thing they come from specialist who combine their strengths.
Imagine if I had said let me work on my strengths I am a programmer let me code I wouldn’t be able to do half the things I can do right now and that’s true. If you look at the innovations that are happening in today’s world they don’t come from specialist who is good at one thing they come from specialist who combine their strengths and they take something that they have learnt in one area and they go and learn something else and when those two things combined; they create innovations. -Antano
Who would have thought that two highly unlikely points are so well connected but if innovation is not creative thinking alone then what are the capabilities that are missing for you that can take your game to the next level.
